"Y" is for Yanachua

This  dinosaur is very similar to the T. Rex but  appears to be smaller in size.

We found lots of Y words  and we explored some rhyming words as well. Good job room three

"B" is for Brachiosaurus

The Brachiosaurus  had an extremely long neck almost 30 feet long and so was considered giraffe like in behaviour nibbling leaves at the top of tall trees.

"H" is for Heterodontosaurus

The Heterodontosaurus was a small plant eating dinosaur with three types of teeth. One of which was the canine tooth associated with a meat eating animal.  It is thought that it may have occasionally eaten the odd small mammal or lizard.

We are getting good at hearing the "H" sound at the beginning of words.

Elliot did some great work in his Jolly Phonics book.

Kenny also worked really hard on his Jolly Phonics.

" T " is for Tyrannosaurus Rex

The Tyrannosaurus was one if the largest land carnivores of all time It's name means tyrant lizard and Rex means king. The largest tooth of any meat eating dinosaur belongs to the T-Rex. it was 30cm long including the root.

We really liked making our jointed T-Rex. 

Fynn cut out his t shape beautifully. Good job.
