"U" for Ulysses Butterfly

Our beautiful Ulysses butterflies are very colourful.

"B' is for Buzzing Bees

Our buzzing bees fly above our white board

We do lots of Fine Motor skill exercises in Room three

We do nuts and bolts, we start really big  when our fingers are not very strong.

Then as we get stronger we go to a smaller one and then....

we get even smaller when our fingers are REALLY strong

We do the same with the tweezers we start big .....

and then we get smaller. We really want to use the small ones because that shows how skilled we are.

We do threading

We do stacking sticks to see who can make the biggest tower

Here we are threading shapes we need to make sure they are properly placed or we can not thread them.

We do finger exercise songs to help strengthen our fingers it is hard to isolate some of our fingers.

We try really hard to get it right

Bella learnt to tie her shoelaces

Bella came to school with shoes that need lacing she could not tie her shoe laces

She practiced with our lacing shoe and now she can tie her own shoe laces.
